How did you join ASM?
“I was working in the university and one day, in 1989, I saw a very small note on the bulletin board saying that Microchemistry, which back then was still called Mikrokemia, was looking for a research scientist. I still have the note with me. I have kept it all these years. They were looking for a scientist to research atomic layer epitaxy – atomic layer deposition was called epitaxy at that time. Well, I didn’t even know what it was!

ASM joins semiconductor climate consortium as founding member
ASM International N.V. (Euronext Amsterdam: ASM) held its annual Supplier Day last week, for the first time in-person at our new Woodlands Manufacturing facility in Singapore. The event was attended by 120 supplier attendees from 13 countries from across ASM’s global supply chain.
