Drive improvements in Thermal & Plasma Enhanced ALD system component longevity, stability, refurbishment / service strategy and process performance to enable reliable and efficient deposition of a range of next generation advanced thin film materials exhibiting various electrical & physical properties.<
Work independently to develop new approaches to coat, protect and refurbish internal vacuum chamber components to improve performance, lifetime, defectivity and CoO for customers processing various materials for use as functional/active layers in semiconductor device stacks.<
Connect process conditions, physical characterization, and electrical response towards understanding of mechanisms.<
Specify, procure and develop state-of-the-art advanced process equipment.<
Formulate new protective and release coating formulations.<
Leverage advanced knowledge of various atmospheric & vacuum based etch & surface treatment approaches and utilize expertise in a range of surface / bulk characterization methods.<

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Business Finance Analyst, you will work on a highly visible, flexible, and collaborative team in a fast paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment. The Business Finance Analyst will help to resolve complex business challenges, establish business metrics, and provide insights into future business endeavors. The ideal candidate is a creative, passionate, and analytical problem-solver who acts quickly, is comfortable in a hands-on role, and is motivated to develop new approaches. This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of strong communication skills, business acumen, knowledge of financial and accounting best practices, and an analytical mindset. The candidate must have the ability and flexibility to work globally with diverse stakeholder groups to solve business problems and provide data-driven solutions. This position will report to the Director of Finance & Business Control.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will require the application of business and financial acumen to support the Director Business Control and various levels of operational and financial decision makers with data, analysis, metrics, process creation/improvement, and operating model alignment.<

Develop financial projections for Operating expenses, capital projects, headcount, and asset depreciation. <
Analyze business expenses and spending trends versus forecast/estimates.<
Budgeting/Forecasting/Estimating/Actuals: Quarterly/Annual budget preparation. Monthly financial close, forecasting, and variance analysis to actual results.<
Assist in the preparation of various tax and legal reports and filings for ASM America <
Ad-hoc analysis and designing/executing solutions to automate ongoing activities such as data mining, financial modeling, and OpEx forecasting. <
Communication & Coordination: Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.<

QUALIFICATIONS<

BS/MBA Degree in Accounting or Finance. <
2-5 years of work-related experience in semiconductor manufacturing of similar high technology manufacturing environment.<

Develop metrics to measure NPI program performance and to drive improvement through successive product introductions.<

PM/mgt experience – Extremely detail oriented<
SEMI Capital Equipment NPI experience bringing a product from design to manufacturing<
MFG production or ME experience<

Education and experience requirements:<

5-7 years in project management and or engineering leadership role<
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related field; MEng. preferred<

JOB DESCRIPTION
Project Team
- The TranS4m! core team consists of members from various business functional groups such as engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, sales, finance and etc., and the core team members are fully dedicated throughout the project period. <
- The core team is a mix of ASM existing employees and new members from outside to ensure that the project can transform ASM business process based on both internal and external best practices.<
- This position will closely work with other core team members, ASM project managers, ASM IT groups, as well as external consulting company which ASM will partner with.<
- This position will report to Manager, Biz Transformation<

Project Activities<
<
- The TranS4m! project activity will follow the typical project sequence started with Blue Print workshops, followed by Development, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Deployment, and Post Go Live Support.<
- As ASM has multiple geographical sites, the above sequence will repeat until the entire ASM goes live on S/4HANA.<
- The Core team members is expected to play an important role throughout the project phase, particularly in Blue Print workshops, User Acceptance Test, Deployment and Post Go Live Support. <
- The project will be carried out by the mix of virtual meetings and physical meetings. Virtual meetings will be scheduled typically during the normal office hours but could be scheduled outside of the normal office hour to allow participants from US and Europe regions to join.<
- These project activities are planned to take place in Singapore in 2023/2024 and other ASM sites in subsequent years. Physical meetings will be schedule in either Singapore or the go-live sites. Travel to these project sites are required, subject to travel restriction.<

- Actively participate into Blue Print workshop to complete ASM business requirements to the detailed level such that consultants can develop the software<
- Create User Acceptance Test scenario and its script so that ASM users can test the system. Join the UAT with other ASM users and document any findings.<
- Work with Organization Change Manager to communicate the project activities and benefits outside the project team.<
- Work with local key users to understand and reflect the local requirement into S/4HANA<
- Work with consultants for end user trainings<
- Support the end users after the site go-live<
