Position Summary

Technology Director for SK Hynix is a strategic business/ technology leader and core to the long-term success of ASM business from SK Hynix.

With strong technology experiences, knowledge and insight, the preferred candidate must be able to build high level and working level customer relationships, especially with SK Hynix account in regard to technology.  

Technology Director must be able to direct the activities of service, support and process engineers with the help of various technology teams in ASM worldwide to deliver the solution to SK Hynix.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage SK Hynix account globally in terms of technology issues with customer service focus, regarding all ASM products and services..
  • With understanding of customer technology roadmap and schedule, product position with technical strength, competition with technical and commercial weakness, align with Account team for the overall defense/penetration strategy and execution tactics.
  • Monitor closely the program progress and potential issue
  • Align with BU on progress and issues to develop follow-up plan
  • Manage the situation change and adjust strategy properly
  • Support install base performance enhancement
  • Evaluate, understand and identify current customer needs, while also anticipating future needs and building long-term sustainable relationships and solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure the relevance of technical information used by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand and build long-term innovative global technology systems that enable enhanced customer relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through team, process and support tool development.
  • Build strong cross-functional and matrixed relationships and collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, Service Engineering, and others to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Drive projects across multiple customer sites that secure business and build trust in ASM’s capabilities.  Coordinate management reviews and alignment.
  • Win customer trust as technical expert/leader

 

Required experience

  • At least 15 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment, working with SK Hynix Process Development Team 
  • Specific focus on Epitaxy process in Semiconductor Field.
  • Knowledge of  Epi / Thin film /Diffusion deposition systems
  • Preferred Phd. Degree in Engineering fields.
  • Good communication skill with customer R&D, Manufacturing & Purchasing with understanding of technology and the Products.
  • Fluent in both Korean and English
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and revitalize a high-performing team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills in a fast, ethical and result-oriented environment.
