Position Summary
Process Director for SK Hynix (Korea regional customers) is a process team leader and key to meet customer needs for both RnD and HVM processes.
The preferred candidate, with strong process experiences, knowledge, and insight, must be able to build high level and working level customer relationships, especially with SK Hynix customers regarding the process technology.
The Process Director must be able to direct the activities of Process Engineers with the assistance of ASM's various process teams around the world to provide solutions to SK Hynix.
Responsibilities
- Manage SK Hynix process team globally in terms of process issues with customer service focus, regarding all ASM products and services.
- Build good relationships with customers.
- Direct projects & relationships with appropriate coordinating between customer and BU.
- Effectively manage complex projects and lead / mentor team members.
- Monitor closely the project progress and potential issue.
- Align with BU on progress and issues to develop follow-up plan.
- Manage the situation change and adjust strategy properly.
- Support install-base performance enhancement.
- Evaluate, understand, and identify current customer needs, while also anticipating future needs and building long-term sustainable relationships and solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure the relevance of technical information used by internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure communication vehicles, e.g., telephone, email, and presentation, etc. are able to facilitate efficient and consistent customer follow-up.
- Drive continuous improvement of the customer experience through team, process, and support tool development.
- Build strong cross-functional and matrixed relationships and collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Development, Service Engineering, and others to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Drive projects across multiple customer sites that secure business and build trust in ASM’s capabilities.
- Win customer trust as a process expert/leader.
Required Experience & Expertise
- At least 15 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment, preferred working with SK Hynix Process Development Team
- Specific focus on Thermal ALD deposition system in Semiconductor Field.
- Knowledge of Thin film / Metal / Metal Oxide / Diffusion deposition systems.
- At least MS in Engineering/Science (Ph.D Preferred).
- Good communication skill with customer R&D, Manufacturing & Purchasing with understanding of the process technology and the products.
- Keep interest in new process technology in semiconductor device manufacturing.
- Fluent in both Korean and English.
- Proven leadership and motivation skills to revitalize a winning process team.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills in a fast, ethical, and result-oriented environment.
