Field Process Engineer – ALD & EPI
Location:  Icheon, Korea (이천)


Position Summary 

The Field Process Engineer will leverage one’s academic expertise to optimize semiconductor thin-film deposition processes. As a Field Process Engineer, you will directly report to Field Process Manager.


Responsibilities

•    Responsible for process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of business goals.
•    Provides technical instruction and leadership on installs, repairs, operations, and calibration. Coordination of application of new procedures. 
•    Develop new or modified processes, define best known method process recipes, and work closely with the hardware engineering team to define chamber requirements and characterize hardware designs that meet customer performance requirements. 
•    Define problems and objectives, develop approach, analyze results and provide recommendation for new and existing ASM equipment.
•    Collect, analyze, and interpret complex data to determine appropriate action, develop action plan and ensure successful result.
•    Works closely with customer to optimize tool performance to meet customer process and integration requirements.
•    Generate product documentation, presentations and technical reports and present to the customer at the engineer level and internal meetings.


Required Qualifications

•    Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics (Masters degree with experience)
•    In-depth knowledge in semiconductor process flow
•    In-depth knowledge within thin-film deposition is advantageous.
•    Understand the importance of following existing safety policies and procedures.
•    Strong customer focused attitude 
•    Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills (both Korean and English)
•    Proficient in MS office 
•    Work in constrictive clean room environment, wearing appropriate personal protective safety equipment.
