The Role
ASM is recruiting for Field Software Engineer in our Sales & Service business function located in Korea. You will be part of a team performing installations, preventative maintenance, and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic, electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- In Basic troubleshooting techniques in repairing complex microprocessor controlled electromechanical systems.
- Perform tool-down repair support in complex situations; work in variedly formed teams; develop action plans and presentations for problem resolutions.
- Work onsite at various customer locations in a cleanroom environment.
- Create and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through advanced customer service skills, implementing permanent solutions while maintaining a "safety first" mentality.
- Ability to work alone and/or with limited supervision.
- Comprehensive and swift reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant software of semiconductor and mechanical discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, preferably in ALD/CVD software.
- Excellent communication skills in both English AND Korean
- Use MS office program for office work.
- Able to each customer sites support, mainly in SK hynix - Icheon. (Cheongju, Bucheon, Gumi)
