THE GLOBAL PRODUCT FINANCE TEAM
ASM is organized through KPUs (Key Product Unit/Product Line) consolidated into BUs (Business Units) being the highest level of consolidation.
As part of ASM, the GP Finance Team is responsible into supporting Business Partners (BU Head or KPU Head) to achieve key results such as Revenues, Gross Margin, OPEX, CAPEX… In a lesser extent, the team will also support on Balance Sheet and Cash topics.
ASM has developed a strong Financial Shared Service center in Singapore covering 80% of pure accounting duties. Hence, GP Finance team can focus on Business Partnering.
All team members have usual responsibilities of monthly closing, forecasting, yearly budgeting process and reporting on his/her perimeter.
GP Finance Director global expectation is that each team member to act as part of a ONE WORLDWIDE TEAM mindset supporting standardization, cross-countries workshops, increase communication, break silos…
The KPU Gross Margin Controller:

Monitor and analyze Gross Margin performance across product lines

Identifies trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Aligned with the Financial Shared Service for bookings as needed

Prepares detailed reports for senior management

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls related to cost accounting and inventory valuation. Support audits as needed.
This role requires to do monthly closing, forecasting, reporting and yearly budgeting on his/her scope.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
-
5+ years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or a similar role at a global company

Experience in monthly closing/budgeting
-
Bicultural (English fluency). Japanese is a plus)
-
Understanding of basics of IFRS accounting is a plus
-
Experience in the manufacturing industry and knowledge of Bill Of Material and routing is a plus

Proven record on Finance and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Anaplan, RPA…)
