As a People Services Generalist, you are part of the Global People Team, accountable for delivery of HR guidance and solutions to managers, employees, and candidates across the US. You will also partner and collaborate closely with Global & Regional People Partners and Centers of Excellence.
The role requires both tactical and excellent execution in a dynamic and demanding business environment. The focus is on delivering HR services ensuring a strong commitment to customer service, quality, and ongoing process improvement. Being part of ASM’s worldwide People organization, you will have opportunities to work across the globe with peers and colleagues to ensure a “one ASM” continuity.
The People Services Generalist will also contribute projects aimed at further improving our HR (global) processes and systems.
The ASM People Organization is responsible for the development and implementation of all activities concerning People & Operations: Accelerate talent, shape leaders, grow organization, unite ASM culture with a strong focus on system enhancement, process improvement and leveraging data to make educated business decisions.
**This role is hybrid (4 days onsite)**
Responsibilities:
- As the point of contact for employees and front-line leaders, you will provide a high level of customer service by responding in an accurate and timely manner to ensure you are fully addressing inquiries.
- Deliver day to day hands on works for wide range of HR spectrum including onboarding, HR policy, immigration, HR systems questions and cyclical People initiatives/ programs.
- Responsible for managing lower-level employee relations issues including coaching of managers, crafting and delivery of corrective action / performance improvement plans.
- Identifies most common FAQ’s, creates suggestions for improvement and advises People Services Operations management, People Partners, and Centers of Excellence.
- Creates, monitors, and conducts data analysis to share insights and trends to support the People team and business on areas of opportunity.
- Responsible for maintaining the data accuracy of various people systems and tools. Also identifying gaps and creative solutions to drive enhancements.
- Ensures that global HR processes, policies and tools are applied consistently to contribute to business goals.
- Deals with questions from managers and employees in a professional way and gathers signals to make process improvements.
- Provide support, help coordinate and participate in events and experiences to drive our sense of community, further enhancing ASM’s culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ degree in HR or related field.
- Broad knowledge of HR methods and instruments. Experience in the field of HR Operations, US employment laws, HR communication and project support.
- 5 years of experience in the field of HR Operations especially with HRIS, HR policies and procedures, employment law and demonstrated employee experience focused. Experience with US immigration strongly preferred.
