This position can be based either in Almere, the Netherlands or Leuven, Belgium.
Position
As People Generalist for the EMEA region, you are accountable for delivering excellent People Services. These services include:
- Providing first line support to managers and employees active in six different countries, managing and providing HR information,
- Actively working with the payroll team to provide accurate payroll information and conduct checks
- Collaborating with talent acquisition and mobility to enable a positive new hire onboarding / employee transfer experience
- You will be working closely with your People Generalist colleagues across the globe and form a cohesive and reliable team together, with a focus on standardizing, optimizing and aligning processes.
Responsibilities
- The role requires a unique combination of functional expertise, a great eye for detail, hands on mentality and a constant focus on providing excellent service to our candidates, employees, and managers in a dynamic, changing and demanding context.
- The major focus is on running and improving several HR processes like onboarding, transfer, mobility and exits for employees. You will update and manage our full HR administration.
- You know your way around data and are able to perform HR analytic requests. You cooperate and align with our payroll colleagues, make sure our master data is correct and enable colleagues at all levels to utilize our systems.
- And, as part of a global HR community, you also support and contribute to local, regional and global HR initiatives
- As ASM is a quickly developing company the job description will evolve over time, we look for someone who is open and ready to make this transition.
Who are you?
You show a high degree of ownership, result orientation and have a mindset of continuous improvement. You are either a passionate junior or an experienced professional (whose experience will be appreciated). Either way you probably have a relevant degree in HR. You can rely on your experience in working across multiple countries and keep your knowledge about labor regulations up to date and you are always developing your expertise to provide an excellent HR Service. Working with stakeholders remotely and across cultures is something you can do well. You can communicate in a factual and comprehensive manner in both English (any other EU languages are a plus) and you are an experienced user of a modern HRIS system (we use SuccessFactors). If we ask anyone about your talents, they would surely mention your eye for detail, analytical skills, pro-active thinking and can do mentality. We are seeking a flexible individual who can accommodate occasional business trips (primarily within Europe) and is willing to maintain adaptable working hours to support global calls and projects We are looking to have someone full-time for this role. Finally, you are a great colleague with a good sense of humor who wants to be part of a small and cohesive team who strive for excellence and quality (all while having a bit of fun).
