Job's Mission
This unique global program offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in cutting-edge semiconductor process technologies while living and working on two continents. You’ll start with a 12-month assignment at our innovation hub in Leuven, Belgium, and transition to a permanent role in Phoenix, AZ. As a Senior Process Engineer, you’ll drive the development and optimization of thin-film deposition processes, creating solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the semiconductor industry.
What you will be working on:
- Develop and refine semiconductor deposition processes, including ALD, PEALD, PECVD, and Epitaxy.
- Design, conduct, and analyze experiments using advanced methodologies like DOE and RSM.
- Collaborate with customers to execute and document process demonstrations.
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshoot complex equipment and process challenges.
- Present findings through technical papers and contribute to the creation of Intellectual Property (IP).
- Support the successful transfer of technologies across regions, including training field personnel.
What we are looking for:
- PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
- 0-7 years of combined education, research, and work experience in thin-film deposition (ALD, PECVD).
- Familiarity with advanced materials characterization techniques (XPS, SEM, TEM, etc.).
- Knowledge of integration techniques for dielectric and metal films in CMOS devices.
What sets you apart:
- Training or experience in computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Expertise in electrical characterization techniques for CMOS devices.
- A proven track record in developing innovative films for emerging semiconductor applications.
