As a Senior Business Analyst I based in Singapore, you will work in a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment. This role is within the Global Spares and Services (GSS) Finance team; and is required to support the Global Quality Organisation. You will also be involved in monthly closing activities, forecasting, annual budgeting and other ad-hoc projects.
This position requires a solution-oriented candidate with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and an analytical mindset. The candidate must have the ability to draw key findings from a large data set and provide data driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand. The candidate must have the ability to work well with diverse stakeholder groups across the globe; good communication skills are a must.
This is an individual contributor role and reports into Director, Business Control (GSS).
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Financial business partner to Global Quality team; supporting the team with data, analysis, metrics and process improvements
- Monthly forecasting and annual budgeting
- Manage month end closing activities and variance analysis
- Drive cost and efficiency improvements for Global Quality
- Support financial projects and implementation of new business improvement activities; including ROI on program investments
- Support in the measurement and tracking of KPIs, and identify improvement areas
- Review processes and controls for financial risks
- Ensure compliance with internal controls; and provide support on external audit requirements
- CAPEX management
- Freight, duty and tax (logistic costs) management for Global Spares and Services
- Costing activities; including standard cost and purchase price variance review
What Will Make You Successful?
- University graduate and above in Accountancy/Finance related fields
- Minimum 5 years of finance & accounting experience with a successful track record in management reporting and financial planning and analysis at regional level. Preferably from high-mix equipment manufacturing
- Flexible and able to work in fast-based environment.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting principles eg. IFRS 15.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and verbal and must be able to effectively work in a cross-functional and global environment.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (eg. excel)
- Knowledge in SAP and Anaplan would be advantageous
- Previous experience with analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Organized, meticulous and high attention to details
- Self-motivated and results oriented, hands on, proactive, able to prioritize to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
