(Senior) NPI Manufacturing Engineer - (Test / Electrical)
PEALD/PECVD NPI Product test control as test engineer, Operations Engineering
Location: Dongtan, Korea
Key Responsibilities
• As partner with Contract manufacturing team (e.g CM Commodity, project PM) and BU engineering team emphasis on providing trouble shooting guidance for plasma enhanced ALD/CVD semiconductor products especially RF matcher/generator or Power distribution rack.
• Having strong knowledge of RF matcher/generator to resolve any PEALD product’s testing issue and provide correct AR to relevant team.
• Drive timely solutions for the contract manufacturing suppliers or internal manufacturing by liaising with cross functional teams in GOPS and Business Units (BU) via SMRA/SCR process.
• Provide NPI(Concept, alpha, Beta) phase of product’s engineering support and documentation in resolving daily operation issues and providing corrective actions and troubleshooting knowledge to relevant team, through collaboration with a team of identified contract manufacturing.
• Achieve daily targets on product delivery to global customers in alignment with manufacturing engineering strategies, production schedules, quality and safety standards.
• Perform systematic and logical troubleshooting guidance and root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and deviations, provide immediate containment actions, and pursue long term permanent solutions after discussing with relevant BU engineering teams.
• Define and create manufacturing test work instruction like OMS, build sequence, methods, and quality documentation (i.e. work instructions, test procedures, inspection checklists, etc.) according to material and assembly specifications.
• Lead the execution of continuous improvement projects on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency enhancement with cross functional teams in GOPS and BU.
• Participate automatic test fixture development product with cross functional team members to deliver standalone modular test Jig and proper guidance need to be provided after validation with pilot products prior to high volume manufacturing,
• Tooling and test instruments identification according to product requirements aka ERS/MRS, with innovations in the meeting of manufacturing efficiency and customer quality.
• NC/CIP tracking to clear any open problem and issues for NPI product’s mature and manage any engineering spec. waiver via ESW/SSD progress.
Key Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience working in Electrical Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering with hands-on engagement on manufacturing and productization activities.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic/Semiconductor(RF) Engineering.
• Hands-on Experience in Semiconductor or FPD Capital Equipment industry in the design of equipment hardware using AutoCAD, EPLAN, etc.
• Hands-on experience of handle Vacuum equipment and knowledge: Power & I/O Check Implement, Function Test and troubleshooting during equipment testing.
• Hands-on experience in RF Matching and Generating technology will be a plus.
• Experience in creating and validating manufacturing document: build & test procedures, define build/test sequence, validating quality documentation.
• Ability to conduct DFx assessment – Define issues, bring up mitigation plans and drive for resolution.
• Ability to work cross functionally with Design Engineers, MPM/CM (supply chain engineers), Quality, Manufacturing team and clean-up any issue during build/test.
• Experience in NPI Product or technical transfer program will be a plus.
• Experience with SAP and/or major ERP/MRP systems and processes at user level will be a plus.
• Expertise or good familiarity in new product introduction (NPI) such as BOM structure, PLM related processes, change control
• Language – Fluent English speak and write
