Job Summary
As a Process Engineer at ASM in Phoenix, Arizona, you’ll drive the process innovation and optimization that fuel our technology and elevate our semiconductor manufacturing capabilities. Working alongside a team of engineering experts, you’ll play a crucial role in developing, refining, and implementing processes that enhance efficiency and ensure our commitment to quality. This role provides an opportunity to make impactful contributions to cutting-edge technologies and solve complex engineering challenges that help shape tomorrow’s innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues, identifying areas for improvement.
- Analyze data to monitor process performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct experiments, collect data, and analyze results to validate and improve process parameters.
- Document and maintain process guidelines, work instructions, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Train and support production teams on new and modified processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of process optimization techniques and quality control principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with semiconductor process tools and equipment.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools, such as JMP or Minitab.
