As a Manager, Software Engineering for our Scheduling Team, you’ll lead a group of talented engineers building advanced scheduling engines that power real-time control systems across global chipmaking fabs. Your leadership will directly influence the performance of cutting-edge hardware—from robotics to temperature controllers—used by the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturers.
What you will be working on
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers focused on scheduling solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.
- Drive the design, development, testing, and deployment of scheduling engines for multiple platforms.
- Collaborate on software strategy, architecture, and innovation initiatives.
- Oversee troubleshooting of real-time control systems and coordinate resolution of complex software issues.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with QA, Support, and Field Engineering teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of software development schedules and maintain alignment with business priorities.
- Review and approve system specifications, designs, and test plans.
- Evaluate software engineering tools and contribute to system design decisions.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience managing and developing software engineering teams.
- Strong software development skills in C#.
- Solid understanding of scheduling concepts involving multiple resources and jobs.
- Ability to work across mechanical, electrical, and software domains to resolve issues.
- Skilled in building software for Windows and Real-Time Operating Systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
What sets you apart
- Experience with machine control software, especially for semiconductor equipment.
- Familiarity with multi-threaded and real-time applications.
- Knowledge of GUI development, device drivers, and interrupt-driven software.
- Understanding of networking, data communications, and EtherCAT.
- Expertise in complex dynamic scheduling algorithms with deadlock avoidance.
- Ability to read and translate code functionality and produce clear documentation.
