Job's mission
As an EHS Supervisor for ASM Taiwan, you will report to the Taiwan Site Services EHS Manager and join a global culture deeply committed to leading our industry in all aspects of EHS, Product Safety, and Sustainability. You will partner with customers and internal teams to ensure compliance with Taiwan regulations and ASM standards, driving continuous improvement in safety performance. This role offers opportunities to innovate and contribute locally and globally, while supporting semiconductor operations and projects. The position is responsible for the management of ASM EHS role in the southern part of Taiwan, including in the customers’ facilities, supporting the customer service team.
Work Environment : Office and customer site environments.
What you will be working on
- Ensure all onsite operations comply with Taiwan legal requirements and ASM standards.
- Coordinate EHS topics and training within projects and with customers.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, accident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage high-risk work, contractor safety, and change management processes.
- Support ISO45001/TOSHMS system implementation and audits.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs.
- Collaborate with customers to integrate safety requirements into operations.
- Assist with government documentation and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in EHS activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and analyze EHS metrics to the discovery of trends, and develop improvement plans to minimize risk and improve performance.
- Monitor and maintain practices, procedures, training and management controls to ensure work is planned and conducted in a safe manner in accordance with national and local regulatory requirements, Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing Industry (SEMI) standards, ASM global EHS procedures, and customer requirements.
What we are looking for
- BS/MS in Industrial Safety/Health Engineering or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in EHS within semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Level B Labor Safety and Health Management certification/license is mandatory (乙級職業安全衛生管理員為必要條件).
- Knowledge in the semiconductor equipment industry, including wafer processing equipment, servicing equipment, and ergonomics standards.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety and product safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

- Occupational health and safety experience in semiconductor fabs or other high-tech areas/semiconductor fabs preferred.
- Familiarity with chemistry and materials technology is a plus.
