Job's mission

 

As Director of Finance Shared Services, you will lead the transformation of our finance operations into a digitally enabled Center of Excellence that strengthens ASM’s strategic growth. You will shape the systems, processes, and partnerships that accelerate performance, elevate data quality, and bring greater insight to our global finance organization. Your leadership will drive automation, operational excellence, and strong collaboration across Business Finance and Group Finance to build a future‑ready shared services model that supports our expanding manufacturing footprint.

What you will be working on

  • Lead the transformation of Finance Shared Services into a digitally enabled, high-performing Center of Excellence that strengthens ASM’s strategic growth.
  • Build and execute a multi-year roadmap enhancing governance, service delivery, performance management, and process standardization across finance operations.
  • Partner closely with Business Finance and Group Finance to align Shared Services priorities and insights with enterprise-wide financial goals.
  • Drive digital enablement through automation, analytics, and AI solutions that strengthen accuracy, speed, and decision-making.
  • Oversee and optimize record-to-report and month-end close processes, embedding best practices, automation, and robust control frameworks.
  • Serve as Finance Sponsor for SAP (FI/CO) and connected systems, leading enhancements, integrations, and data-governance initiatives.
  • Champion operational excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, and shared services methodologies to improve productivity, cost-to-serve, and service quality.
  • Build and develop a high-performing team with strong digital, analytical, and service-oriented capabilities.
  • Support manufacturing expansion, business initiatives, and acquisitions through scalable and coordinated finance service delivery

What we are looking for

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance experience, including 7 years leading large, distributed teams.
  • Proven leadership in Shared Services or Global Business Services transformation.
  • Hands-on SAP FI/CO experience with exposure to automation and AI solutions in finance.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving complex transformation and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
