Job's mission
The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for leading finance transformation initiatives focused on continuous improvement, automation, and process simplification across core financial and operational processes. This role plays a critical part in delivering cost savings, improving forecast accuracy, strengthening inventory and operational risk management, and enabling scalable finance operations. In addition, the role provides flexible leadership capacity to support critical finance roles in support of business continuity and potential M&A-related activities.
What you will be working on
Continuous Improvement & Automation (S4 CIP)
- Lead and execute S4 Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) initiatives, covering both existing open projects and newly identified automation opportunities.
- Partner with global and regional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver Global Ops finance automation initiatives with clear business cases and measurable benefits.
- Ensure CIP initiatives are aligned with broader finance transformation, system roadmaps, and internal control requirements.
Process Simplification and Automation
- Drive end-to-end process simplification and automation across finance and operational workflows, with a strong focus on scalability and sustainability.
- Lead pre‑post accounting automation, ensuring clear linkage of cost savings and efficiencies to the P&L and financial reporting.
- Simplify and automate the monthly Latest Estimate (LE) and forecasting processes to reduce cycle time, manual effort, and error risk.
- Develop and maintain cost savings and PPV forecasts based on future purchasing commitments, supporting proactive cost management and decision‑
Process Improvement and Risk Management
- Continuous improvement on Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory reviews, including risk assessment, governance, and mitigation actions.
- Streamline open purchase order (PO) risk assessments, partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Operations to identify exposure and drive corrective actions.
- Improve labor and production variance analyses, ensuring timely insights, root‑cause analysis, and clear accountability for corrective measures
Business Continuity and M&A Support
- Provide leadership coverage and backfill critical finance roles as required, ensuring continuity of operations during resourcing gaps or transformation activities.
- Support M&A-related work as needed, including financial analysis, integration planning, process stabilization, and interim operational leadership.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Accounting / ACCA/ CPA/ CMA; minimum 12-15 years of progressive finance experience, including relevant experience in a supply chain, procurement, or operations finance role
- Proficiency with SAP ERP systems and advanced financial modeling skills; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and large dataset analysis
- Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional teams in fast-moving, technology-driven organizations.
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive cost/ productivity improvements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.
- Proven track record in process automation, continuous improvement, and finance digitalization within SAP ERP/S4 environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing or operations finance, including inventory, labor, and cost variances.
- Experience supporting business transformation and/or M&A integration activities
- This is a 12 month fixed term contract role.
