We are thrilled to announce that we are on the lookout for a mature and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team! RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the AP team in FSS with reviewing vendor invoices and signed delivery notes. Mark tax code/comments and scan them to the AP team in FSS.
- Review and check employee claims, ensuring policy compliance.
- Review eGUI sales invoices and upload them to the tax bureau platform on time.
- Review output VAT in SAP weekly to ensure the sequence of GUI numbers is in order.
- Collaborate with the eGUI consultant to solve any issues related to uploading eGUI invoices.
- Monitor compliance with VAT law and legal invoice requirements (like Tax ID, VAT amount), etc.
- Prepare VAT filing/Stamp filing bi-monthly.
- Prepare/submit filing of withholding tax as needed.
- Prepare local tax payment splits as needed (VAT, Stamp tax, Withholding tax), etc.
- Prepare payment requests and purchase requests as required.
- Make import duty payments via the portal and prepare accounting files for AP posting.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure that the month-end close process is performed in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail.
- Prepare reconciliations for Balance Sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Review month-end schedules and fixed asset schedules prepared by FSS.
- Be responsible for financial and tax audits. Prepare supporting materials before audits and interact with external auditors during the audit period.
- Assist with preparing statutory reports and tax returns.
- Assist in the documentation of vendor invoices/receipts/employee claim reports.
- Work closely with the Director of Business Control in all aspects of accounting management.
- Take on other assigned jobs related to accounting.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting-related role. Experience in a MNC Shared Service environment is preferred.
- Experience in an SAP environment.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized in work.
- Matured with a 'can do' attitude.
- High integrity, meticulous, and proactive.
- Independent, self-driven, with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage interpersonal relationships with internal & external customers.
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and R.O.C GAAP.
- Proficient with MS Office Applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Good command of English.
- Experience in an accounting firm is desirable.
EDUCATION
- BS in Accounting.
- 3 years of work-related experience in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar high-technology manufacturing environment is desirable.
