Join ASM’s mission to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor solutions with precision and reliability. As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and optimizing our PEALD and ALD systems at customer sites in Pyeongtaek. Your expertise will help ensure ASM’s tools meet the highest standards of performance and customer satisfaction.
What you will be working on
- Perform installation, relocation, and upgrades of ASM equipment at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues related to tool operation.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance following ASM protocols.
- Collaborate with global technical support teams to resolve complex hardware escalations.
- Provide user training and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
- Ensure compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate service documentation, including install status and service reports.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical Engineering, or related field.

Entry-level to under 6 years of professional experience preferred.
- Strong interest in semiconductor equipment and field service work.

Must be legally eligible to travel overseas for business purposes.
- Understanding of electrical/mechanical systems or automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fluent in Korean and English.
- Commute regularly to sites in Pyeongtaek, with occasional travel to other sites as well.
- Willingness to work in cleanroom environments.
