Job's mission
What you will be working on
- Support the design and development of semiconductor vacuum systems and related components
- Assist in automation development using PLCs, SCADA, and related tools
- Work with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, operations, and quality to support project execution
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, contributing to root cause analysis and solutions
- Support the creation and maintenance of BOMs and engineering documentation
- Apply engineering principles to support system and component design
- Perform basic engineering calculations (e.g., structural, thermal, fluid systems)
- Create and update CAD models and drawings using Creo Parametric
- Assist in preparing design documentation for manufacturing and testing
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and learn about new technologies
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Internship or academic project experience in engineering design, automation, or related areas
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., vacuum systems, thermal systems, fluid systems)
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Creo or similar
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high-tech environment
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team
What sets you apart
- Internship or project experience in semiconductor or advanced manufacturing
- Exposure to PLC programming or automation systemsKnowledge of engineering standards (e.g., CE, SEMI, NFPA)
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, or system integration
- Familiarity with GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5 or ISO)
- Experience using version control tools (e.g., Git)
- A proactive mindset with curiosity and eagerness to learn
