Job’s mission
What you will be working on
- Lead product baseline and change processes for a designated business unit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product baselines and change control requirements.
- Identify components and assemblies to ensure successful implementation of product changes across operations and customer-installed bases.
- Develop and refine product change management processes to improve efficiency and minimize inventory impact.
- Provide product support to manufacturing, supply chain, and product management teams.
- Manage engineering documentation and ensure adherence to standards.
- Oversee planning functions to ensure effective change implementation dates.
- Maintain expertise in PLM and ERP systems, BOM platforms, and DMU modeling.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Up to 3 years of experience in engineering or technical project management (internships and co-ops count).
- Coursework or exposure to Systems Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain.
- Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP S4 Hana).
- Basic proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (e.g., CREO).
- Understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T practices.
- Experience with inventory management or CPIM practices.
- Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
- Exposure to complex mechanical/electrical model systems.
- Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.
