As a Field Process Engineer at ASM, you’ll work directly with customers to optimize thin-film deposition processes that power the future of semiconductor technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving performance, precision, and customer satisfaction.
What you will be working on
- Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation to support ASM’s business goals.
- Provide technical guidance during tool installs, repairs, operations, and calibration.
- Develop and refine process recipes, collaborating with hardware engineering to meet customer performance targets.
- Analyze complex data to define problems, develop solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations.
- Partner with customers to optimize tool performance and meet integration requirements.
- Create and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer audiences.
What we are looking for
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- Strong customer-focused mindset and communication skills in Korean and English.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate safety equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
What sets you apart
- 2+ years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor process flows, especially ALD, PEALD, EPI, CVD, PECVD.
- Knowledge of thin-film deposition technologies.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures.
