What's the Role We are seeking a dynamic and innovative FP&A Manager, based in Singapore, to build FP&A capabilities and drive our data transformation and AI adoption initiatives within Global Operations (GOPS).
This function acts as the finance analytical engine to provide financial insights and support optimal business decision making.This role is to focus on financial modeling, forecasting, data analysis, and communication, along with tools that automate and improve these processes. The incumbent would liaise closely with GOPS Finance Business Partners and various other stakeholders in GOPS organization, Corporate Finance and other Business Units/Service Units. This is an individual contributor role and reports into Director, Business Control (GOPS).
Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Work with Corporate Finance, GOPS Finance Business Partners, and other functions to ensure a smooth monthly management reporting & forecasting and annual budgeting exercise.
- Oversee the collection, organization, and analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Support the preparation of monthly business review presentation, annual budget presentation and 5-Year strategic plan.
- Product cost projection for one of the major product lines. Analyze actual product cost versus forecast and standard.
- Serve as a liaison between GOPS and other business units to ensure seamless integration of product cost data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Drive the adoption of AI tools and technologies to automate routine tasks, enhance financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes.
- Lead, support or manage ad-hoc global finance projects and key workstreams that may arise in line with business requirements, as needed from a finance perspective.
What Will Make You Successful?
- University graduate and above in Finance, Accounting, Data Science or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in FP&A, with a strong background in data analytics and AI implementation.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI), financial planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, TM1 and etc) and AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, predictive analytics).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for leveraging data to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven experience of working in a hands-on role and in a changing environment.
- Experience in system implementation / planning tools / process improvement.
- Organized and methodical; Possess project management skill.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles.
