We are looking for a talented Global Product Support Engineering Manager to join our ALD team here in Phoenix, AZ. ALD Equipment experience is REQUIRED for this role.
Job’s Mission
As Manager I, Global Product Support, you will lead global initiatives that ensure ASM’s advanced semiconductor tools deliver exceptional performance across multiple sites. This role drives systemic solutions, optimizes yield, and sets methodologies that shape industry standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, mentor engineers, and lead customer-facing engagements to strengthen ASM’s reputation for innovation and reliability.
What you will be working on
- Supervise implementation of global methodologies across shifts and sites
- Lead incident investigations and facilitate cross-functional RCCA processes
- Support worldwide audits and ensure compliance with tool capability standards
- Troubleshoot yield excursions across fabs and design complex DOEs using ANOVA
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence across teams
- Analyze probe/test data, manage PCNs, and track KPI improvements
- Orchestrate global crisis-response teams and lead customer QBRs
- Drive yield-enhancement projects and systemic solutions for multi-site challenges
- Communicate data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions
What we are looking for
- BS in Electromechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Systems Engineering + 16 years of experience; OR MS + 12 years of experience; OR PhD + 8 years of experience
- Mastery of all and recognized ASM expert in at least one of the following:
- Wafer fabs, closed-loop gas and vacuum control, gas schematics and drawings, RF-induced plasma, toxic and/or flammable gases and acids
- Electromechanical schematics and drawings, electro-pneumatic controls, robotics, microprocessor-based controllers, basic software concepts
- Strong to expert knowledge of hand tools, oscilloscopes, complex measuring devices, and DVMs
- Prior experience managing small teams and exposure to customer interactions

- Leadership certifications or formal management training
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive systemic improvements
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in DOE design and ANOVA
