Job's mission
Join the ASM Global Trade Compliance team on a one (1) year contract in a role responsible for ensuring ASM’s global businesses are conducted in compliance with various export control laws and regulations, sanctions, and customs regulations. You will actively support ASM’s Compliance operations.
This position reports to the Senior Manager of Global Trade Compliance and is part of the Legal department.
What you will be working on
- Interact with internal stakeholders and support China transactions to ensure compliance
- Major daily work: Track and manage orders block release proactively in the SAP GTS system, with a primary focus on China transactions.
- Performing internal self-assessments to ensure trade compliance activities are executed properly.
- Support ad hoc activities for e.g. pulling reports from SAP and conduct analysis.
- Provide support to team members as required.
What we are looking for
- Minimum a Bachelor's Degreein a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in international trade compliance within a global setting
- Basic knowledge of US Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”) and/or ECCN

- Experience in high-tech or semiconductor Industry.
- Familiarity with SAP GTS
- Good communication and effective interpersonal skills;
- Attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in the execution of any assigned task;
- Ability to work autonomously, with minimal direction, and self-motivated and results-driven;
- Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams and a global environment.
