Human Resources Generalist (Hybrid – 4 days onsite)
As a Human Resources Generalist at ASM, you are a key member of the Global People Team, responsible for delivering HR guidance and solutions to managers, employees, and candidates across the U.S. You will collaborate closely with Global and Regional People Partners and Centers of Excellence to ensure consistency and alignment across our HR practices.
This role demands both tactical execution and strategic thinking in a dynamic business environment. You will manage a wide range of HR responsibilities, including employee and manager support, development, compliance, and continuous process improvement. You will also contribute to projects aimed at enhancing global HR processes and systems.
As part of ASM’s global People organization, you will have opportunities to collaborate internationally, contributing to a “One ASM” culture.
Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and front-line leaders, ensuring accurate, timely, and proactive resolution of inquiries and issues.

Deliver daily HR support across a broad range of areas including coaching, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, immigration, internal mobility, compliance, training, and development.

Partner with employment/labor legal teams on complex employee relations issues, including mediations, corrective action, and performance improvement plans.

Develop and enforce HR policies aligned with labor law and ASM’s culture.

Identify frequently asked questions and recommend process or service improvements.

Use both qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights and support strategic HR decisions.

Collaborate with Senior People Partners on organizational health, engagement, and change management strategies.

Ensure accuracy of employee and organizational data in various systems, identifying gaps and recommending solutions.

Support consistent application of global HR processes, policies, and tools.

Promote a positive and compliant workplace by identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Help coordinate and participate in community-building events and experiences that enhance ASM’s culture.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
-
5+ years of HR experience, especially in HR operations, U.S. employment law, policies, and procedures.

Experience with HRIS, data accuracy, compliance, and employee experience.

Strongly preferred: experience with U.S. immigration processes.

SHRM or equivalent HR certification is a plus.
