Job's mission

As an Industrial Engineer II, you’ll play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving efficiency across our semiconductor equipment operations. Your work will directly support ASM’s mission to deliver cutting-edge technology with precision and reliability. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams and lead impactful projects that shape the future of manufacturing.

What you will be working on

  • Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.
  • Develop and implement capacity planning models to optimize resource and equipment utilization.
  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing downtime.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and boost productivity.
  • Lead and manage projects focused on process improvements and cost reductions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, planning, facilities, finance, and customer service.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial engineering within semiconductor or equipment manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation software, statistical analysis tools).
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience in project management and driving process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
