Job's mission

 

As Lead, Operations Intelligence Data Governance in AI, you will shape how trusted, governed data powers decision‑making across ASM Global Operations. You will drive the evolution of enterprise data governance by embedding accuracy, security, and consistency into core systems, while pioneering the use of GenAI and agentic AI to automate and modernize governance processes. By strengthening data trust and enabling reliable analytics, this role plays a critical part in advancing ASM’s data strategy and unlocking smarter, faster, and more innovative operations.

What you will be working on

  • Maintain data governance documentation including policies, standards, definitions, and operating procedures. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning techniques, agentic AI, and LLMs, and evaluate their applicability to Global Operations’ business challenges.
  • Collaborate with data Owners, data stewards to enforce Data Governance rules across Global Operations functions
  • Drive early-stage exploration and stakeholder discovery for AI Governance, clarify scope, use-case inventory, risk tiers, and key decision points to shape the operating model.
  • Establish and socialize an AI Governance framework (roles & responsibilities, controls, and documentation) to support FEAT-aligned assessments across the AI lifecycle (design, development, validation, deployment, and monitoring).
  • Develop, monitor, measure, and report on data quality KPIs and scorecards.
  • Identify data quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide recommendations.
  • Lead the exploration for Enterprise Data Catalogs development using tools.
  • Partner with business teams to understand data quality needs and governance pain points.
  • Drive agenda in Data Governance Council meetings.
  • Develop Agentic AI pilots for automating core Data Governance Processes, Data Quality Monitoring, Access Controls, Detect data drifts, autonomous root cause analysis and issue resolutions.
  • Conceptualize autonomous Data Governance monitoring tasks and envision Autonomous Data Stewardship

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics Information Systems, or any related quantitative / STEM field.
  • Minimum 5 of experience  in Data Governance/Data Management/Analytics/Data SME roles.
  • Experience with Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management or Master Data Management programs. Familiarity with any commercial data governance platforms (Collibra, Atlan etc.)
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (S4 HANA, CRM, SRM), Kinaxis, and business processes in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, or Engineering
  • Familiarity with DAMA principles. Data Governance certification CDMP
  • AI Literacy of any leading AL/LLM frameworks – Claude/Copilot etc.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices.
  • Strong affinity for applying AI – concepts and tools into Data Governance
  • Experience in Data Governance Project Management in High Tech Manufacturing
  • Understanding of data architecture, data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines
  • Strong SQL /Python skills for data validation and profiling.
  • Strong in MS Excel; PowerPoint Presentations; Microsoft Platform tools.
  • Strong Communication skills - verbal and written to contribute in business discussions, communicate insights, and influence stakeholders.
