Job’s mission
As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you’ll help bring ASM’s advanced semiconductor equipment to life by designing and deploying automated test solutions. Your work will directly support our global manufacturing strategy by improving test efficiency, reducing downtime, and ensuring product quality. What you will be working on
- Design and develop hardware and/or software for automated test equipment.
- Evaluate project requirements and propose technical solutions, including debug plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and documentation.
- Drive new test fixture designs and manage deployment, issue tracking, and engineering change requests.
- Develop test procedures based on manufacturing engineering inputs and analyze test data for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across multiple concurrent projects and prioritize deliverables.
- Provide sustaining support for deployed test equipment, including calibration and maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate deployment and sourcing of test fixtures and components.
- Conduct root cause analysis and generate failure reports for design and deployment issues.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Automation Engineering or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies and sensor technologies (e.g., vacuum sensors, thermocouples, motion sensors).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively across global cross-functional teams.
