As a Senior Lead, People Partner at ASM you will be a key member of our Global People team, partnering with Business Units (BUs) and Service Units (SUs) across Europe, supporting leaders and employees in the Netherlands, Ireland, Israel, Germany, and France.
In addition, you’ll serve as a strategic HR advisor to an ExCo member driving initiatives that accelerate business growth, elevate leadership, build talent pipelines, and strengthen a high - performance, values driven culture.
You won’t do it alone - you’ll collaborate closely with Global & Regional People Partners and partner with our specialized People Centers of Excellence (CoEs). You will also be fully supported by our People Services team, known for their operational excellence and commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience.

What You Will Be Working On
Business Partnership
- Partner with the Regional People Lead and BU/SU leaders across Europe to drive people strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Provide high-quality guidance and advisory support to managers on workforce planning, organizational design, team effectiveness, and people related decision-making. quality guidance and advisory support to managers on workforce planning, organizational design, team effectiveness, and people related decision making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor who anticipates business needs, identifies risks, and proposes pragmatic HR solutions.
Talent, Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and support initiatives related to talent management, leadership development, succession and strategic workforce planning, and organizational capability building.
- Facilitate performance management processes, coaching leaders and teams on goalsetting, feedback, and performance improvement.
- Partner with talent acquisition to attract, evaluate and land the best talent on the market
- Enable culture evolution and change management activities as ASM continues to grow rapidly across Europe.
People Programs & CoE Collaboration
- Drive the adoption and successful implementation of regional and global CoE programs (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Reward, HR Operations, etc.).
- Ensure strong program execution and effective communication to key stakeholders in the region.
- Contribute to global projects and act as the regional representative to ensure European needs are incorporated.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Promote a positive employee experience by actively listening to employee concerns, monitoring engagement drivers, and facilitating issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and ASM’s global policies, partnering with legal specialists and operational teams where needed.
- Role model ASM’s culture, values, and leadership principles.
Data, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Provide data driven insights through reports, analysis, and recommendations that support business decisions and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies across the People function.
- Use people metrics (turnover, engagement, talent pipeline health, headcount trends, etc.) to guide decision making.
What We Are Looking For
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to HR Business Partnering in multinational environments.
- Experience in the semiconductor, high-tech, or advanced manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success working across multiple European countries, with proven ability to navigate diverse legal and cultural contexts.
- Experience working in fast-growing or highly dynamic organizations is an advantage. Growing or highly dynamic organizations is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HR fundamentals including employee relations, talent management, leadership development, and organizational design.
- Fluency in Dutch and English (written and verbal); additional European languages relevant to the portfolio are a plus.
