Job's mission
As our Senior Lead, Supply Chain Sustainability, you will be instrumental in driving ASM’s long‑term climate ambitions by leading the strategy and execution of our supply chain decarbonization programs. You will work across the global semiconductor ecosystem—bringing together suppliers, internal teams, and industry coalitions—to accelerate our transition toward a low‑carbon, resilient supply chain that aligns with ASM’s Climate Transition Plan. In addition, t role provides day-to-day coaching and mentoring to the supply chain sustainability team, supporting alignment and capability building across all supply chain ESG programs and resources. Your technical leadership, industry insight, and ability to influence without authority will help shape the future of sustainable manufacturing in one of the world’s most critical high‑tech sectors.
What you will be working on
- Lead the strategic implementation of ASM’s supply chain decarbonization roadmap to support SBTi‑verified Net Zero targets.
- Partner with Global Supply Chain to embed carbon‑intensity targets and sustainability criteria into supplier selection, evaluation, and contracting.
- Drive ASM’s sponsorship of the Schneider Electric Catalyze program, including supplier recruitment and education for renewable energy PPAs.
- Identify opportunities for Ecodesign and sustainable materials within the product portfolio, focusing on low‑carbon and circular procurement.
- Design and deliver capability‑building programs for internal supply chain teams and strategic suppliers on advanced sustainability topics.
- Lead the SCORE program, acting as a technical advisor to suppliers on renewable energy adoption and carbon‑abatement strategies.
- Develop and maintain ASM’s Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) methodology by linking complex BOM data to verified life‑cycle emission factors.
- Support and guide Supply Chain Sustainability team members to drive effective day‑to‑day execution.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sustainability and/or supply chain management within high‑tech industries such as semiconductor, electronics, or capital equipment.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, multi‑stakeholder sustainability programs.
- Strong influencing skills with experience guiding senior leaders at supplier organizations.
- Experience contributing to industry coalitions such as SCC or RBA.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
