This role partners closely with Regional Field Service Engineers, Procurement, Commodity Management, and Expediting teams to ensure material availability supporting both HVM and NPI demand while optimizing inventory performance.The position is responsible for driving on-time delivery, preventing material shortages, and improving inventory turns through strong cross-functional coordination and disciplined planning execution. Success in this role requires a high degree of ownership, responsiveness, and attention to detail, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Materials Planning & Inventory Management

  • Manage materials planning to ensure availability, minimize downtime, and prevent stock-outs (zero-bin situations)
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels, including customer consignment inventory, to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Drive improvements in inventory turns

Execution & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner daily with Field Service, Procurement, and Expediting teams to align on demand and supply priorities
  • Collaborate with Commodity Managers and Procurement to expedite materials and ensure on-time delivery

Planning Excellence & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to supply chain planning initiatives, including:
    • Demand forecasting
    • Inventory optimization
    • Risk management & mitigation
    • On-time delivery performance
  • Support continuous improvement and system integration efforts

Data & Systems Management

  • Maintain and improve planning master data to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of global spares planning parameters
  • Ensure high data integrity standards in all planning activities

Analysis & Reporting

  • Deliver regular performance analysis (inventory, delivery, shortages)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to support operational and strategic decisions

Leadership & Influence

  • Lead cross-functional meetings to drive accountability, alignment, and results
  • Demonstrate strong ownership and follow-through across stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Equivalent experience (6+ years) will be considered
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in supply chain or operations management is a plus
  • 6+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or inventory control
  • Experience in spares planning strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Planning and scheduling systems
    • Master data management
    • Purchase order expediting
    • Inventory control and optimization principles
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, or other high-volume manufacturing environments preferred

Key Skills

  • Fluent in English (required)
  • Korean and/or Mandarin Chinese (strong plus)
  • SAP expertise (required)
  • Advanced Excel skills (required)
  • Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting large datasets and translating insights into actions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
