Job’s mission
Advanced Analytics is a newly created function in ASM Global Operations, designed to revolutionize how AI, intelligent automation, and digital twin technologies drive innovation and business outcomes. As an AI Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of this transformation—architecting and building solutions that showcase the power of AI and automation across ASM’s global operations. What you will be working on
- Architect ASM’s AI, Intelligent Automation, and Digital Twin solutions using diverse frameworks and deployment models.
- Define AI architecture and guide leaders in selecting and adopting compatible technologies.
- Collaborate with leaders, program managers, and cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing systems and prepare for new AI initiatives.
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced prediction models, including Agentic AI systems and Large Language Models (LLMs), to drive automation, intelligent decision-making, and innovation across Global Operations.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and evaluate their relevance to ASM’s business challenges.
- Analyze business problems, transform data, simulate outputs, and maintain AI/ML solutions.
- Automate development and deployment of AI solutions; build proof-of-concepts to streamline manual processes.
- Partner with data engineers, data analysts/scientists, senior management, and other stakeholders to support digital transformation.
- Contribute to ASM’s AI talent pipeline through mentorship and collaboration with interns and junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Data Science or AI/ML projects.
- Hands-on, end-to-end experience in Data Analytics projects, including application of statistical and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools; experience deploying AI/ML solutions in the cloud is an advantage.
- Strong analytical/ critical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and start up like work environment.
What sets you apart
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI frameworks and applications, including autonomous agents and decision-making systems.
- Knowledge of Computer Vision.
- Familiarity with SAP systems (S4 HANA, CRM, SRM), Kinaxis, and business processes in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, or Engineering.
- Understanding of data privacy, security, and ethical AI practices.
