Job's mission
As a Field Service Engineer at ASM Korea, you will be a key member of our Sales & Service organization, supporting the SK hynix account. You will be responsible for delivering world-class service through equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-tech environment and contribute directly to ASM’s success in the region.
What you will be working on

- Perform installation, qualification, preventive maintenance, and remedial repair of ASM’s advanced semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites.
- Provide tool-down repair support in complex situations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop action plans and present solutions.
- Work onsite at various customer locations, primarily in Icheon, with occasional travel to Bucheon, Gumi, and Cheongju.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering responsive and professional service, while prioritizing safety in all activities.
- Support customer software requests (SRS), conduct simulation testing, and initiate escalations to meet customer timelines.
- Ensure comprehensive and timely reporting of service activities and outcomes.
What we are looking for

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Semiconductor Engineering).
- In-depth work experience in the semiconductor equipment industry, preferably with Epitaxy (EPI), ALD, or CVD technologies.
- Strong communication skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites in Icheon, also includes Bucheon, Gumi, and Cheongju.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
