Job's mission

Shape the future of semiconductor innovation through strategic customer partnerships. As an Account Management (Snr) Manager at ASM, you’ll lead global engagement with a key customer, aligning business growth with long-term technology needs across multiple regions. Your work will connect ASM’s breakthrough solutions with customer success through collaboration, insight, and execution.

What You Will Be Working On

    • Manage Samsung account globally for all the business issues, all ASM products and services including Samsung Korea, China, US with clear execution metrics.
    • Drive revenue/share growth at Samsung for all the product segments.
      • Product and innovation introduction to the customer.
      • Communicate with customers to find future application.
      • Make strategic business planning in long term and short term for opportunities by aligning with internal stakeholders; Sales/KAT/Process/BU.
      • Find JDP opportunity for new products and application engagement.
    • Achieve minimum of one new application penetration per year.
    • Develop deep customer relationships across the customers’ organization.
    • Build a high performing local Korea commercial organization.
    • Identify emerging regional growth opportunities and develop business strategy.
    • Build strong relationships within key customer functions and tier suppliers.
    • Must be able to effectively coordinate strategic efforts of various internal multi-regional sales and technical support teams.
    • Develop short/long-term partnership programs with Samsung Semiconductor R&D center, Fab and procurement division to improve sales revenue.
    • Negotiate system configuration and price with Fab and Procurement customers.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 8 years of experience in semiconductor capital equipment sales for Samsung Account - Sales / Marketing / Purchasing
  • B.S. degree or higher in an engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Specific focus on Thin film deposition / Advanced Package applications regardless of product(tALD/PEALD/PECVD).
  • Large account management experience
  • Knowledge of Thin film deposition systems
  • Having a superior ability to drive the strategy within a global matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Deep and extensive professional network with Samsung semiconductor customers including executives.
  • Strong communication skill with customer R&D, Manufacturing & Purchasing understanding technology and the Products.
  • Good internal communication and reporting skill in English.
  • Continuous interest in new Technology.
  • Keep interest in new technology in semiconductor device manufacturing.
  • Bilingual / Fluent in both Korean and English (written & verbal).
