Job's mission

As a Senior New Product Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in turning breakthrough designs into real-world manufacturing solutions. From concept to customer delivery, you’ll drive new product industrialization by working cross-functionally to optimize for quality, cost, and lead time. You’ll be a strategic partner to both Global Operations and our Business Units, influencing design, improving processes, and supporting the full product lifecycle.

What you will be working on

  • Act as the primary engineering interface between Business Units (BU) and Global Operations (GOPS) for all new product introduction (NPI) activities
  • Lead Design for Manufacturing (DFM) assessments and provide actionable input to improve product design for manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Present operational readiness, manufacturing strategies, and cost targets during product tollgate reviews
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to develop new test and sourcing strategies
  • Troubleshoot daily production issues and perform root cause analysis with timely containment and corrective actions
  • Define and document clear manufacturing procedures, build sequences, test plans, and inspection standards
  • Drive supplier and contract manufacturer alignment in support of new product ramp-up
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, cost, and efficiency
  • Develop and deliver tooling and test equipment to support product requirements and optimize productivity
  • Foster knowledge sharing and technical collaboration across teams, including field support and engineering functions

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in semiconductor capital equipment
  • Strong knowledge of assembly integration and test for complex systems in CVD/ALD/Epitaxy
  • Skilled in modular design, BOM structuring, and configurable product architecture
  • Experienced in applying DFM and Lean concepts to improve manufacturability and flow
  • Familiar with product lifecycle (PLC) processes, phase gate reviews, and engineering change controls
  • Proven ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in operational excellence tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, DMAIC, GR&R, and Six Sigma

What sets you apart

  • Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in project management for multiple NPI programs
  • Background in supplier development or contract manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to manufacturing digitization or data-driven process improvement
