Job's mission
With the rapid ASM growth, product quality, customer satisfaction, and driving the quality of our products to a competitive advantage is crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting ASM's outsourced manufacturing contract manufacturers, ensuring consistent quality and minimal supply disruption.
We are seeking a self-motivated and naturally curious individual with a strong ability to define and deliver innovative solutions to help ASM achieve these goals.
What you will be working on
- Maintain and improve product quality in line with company targets
- Reduce in-house, contract manufacturing and supplier defects/failures, driving corrective actions
- Lower the escape rate through improved component and product test methods and manufacturing processes
- Analyze problems, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Drive effective corrective actions based on solid facts and data analysis
- Lead and participate in supplier audits, including product, manufacturing process and quality system audits
- Support risk mitigation projects and new/transferred product first article approval with PPAP tools
- Deploy effective controls over manufacturing processes, including SPC, defect analysis, NC/tool targets etc
- Ensure CTQ measurements are consistently understood, monitored and maintained
- Collaborate with suppliers to develop and execute continuous improvement projects, establishing clear targets and roadmaps
What we are looking for
- Minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated leadership skills in contract manufacturing management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or Manufacturing Quality Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing contract manufacturing and second-tier component supplier management understanding with reference to a contract manufacturer (first tier).
- Familiar with the following operational excellence tools but not limited to: Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Problem solving, Microsoft project, and Six Sigma.
- Exhibits a self-driven personality with a disciplined approach to ownership of responsibilities and independence
- Capable of operating at the highest levels within an organization
- Project leadership and management.
- Candidate who excels in working independently while leading and driving projects or problem management and resolution

- Demonstrates accountability, analytical thinking, and a commitment to driving teams toward achieving business goals
- Experience in a contract manufacturing environment is essential. You must be adept at analyzing from a macro to micro level and clearly understand the product lifecycle, from NPI to EOL management.
- Possesses strong written, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving background.
