ASM is looking for a Senior Tax Specialist to join the Global Tax team at our global headquarters in Almere, The Netherlands. The Global Tax team consists of nine tax professionals, of which four are located in The Netherlands. In this newly created role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse (international) tax projects. By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, you will contribute to optimizing ASM’s tax strategies and processes.

What you will be working on:
- Manage day-to-day tax (including transfer pricing) affairs of the European subsidiaries of the ASM Group, like communication with external tax consultants, managing tax audits and inquiries, and tax compliance obligations.
- Advise the ASM business on tax related matters and work on Global projects.
- Support tax sustainability and transparency initiatives.
- Support in the quarterly tax accounting process, including support with Pillar Two obligations.
- Collaborate on process improvements and tax technology advancements to enhance team efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- You are a motivated, enthusiastic tax professional who continuously wants to improve.
- You have a Master’s degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics.
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a Big-4 or law firm environment. In-house experience is considered a plus.
- Experience in Dutch and international taxation, including transfer pricing. You understand the IFRS / commercial financial data and its tax implications.
- Familiarity with tax accounting and reporting principles. Willingness to learn and develop in this field.
- Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
