Job’s mission

As an Specialist, EHS at ASM Taiwan, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable working environment across ASM operations and customer sites. Reporting to the Taiwan Site Services EHS Manager, you will partner closely with internal teams and customers to drive compliance with Taiwan regulations, ASM EHS standards, and industry best practices. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact locally while contributing to ASM’s global EHS objectives in a high‑tech semiconductor environment.

What you will be working on

1. Ensure all on‑site operations comply with Taiwan legal requirements and ASM EHS standards
2. Support EHS management activities in southern Taiwan, including customer facilities
3. Coordinate EHS topics and training across projects and customer engagements
4. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations; implement corrective and preventive actions
5. Manage high‑risk work activities, contractor safety, and change management processes
6. Support ISO 45001 / TOSHMS system implementation and internal/external audits
7. Develop and deliver health and safety training programs
8. Collaborate with customers to integrate EHS requirements into daily operations
9. Support government documentation and regulatory compliance activities
10. Analyze EHS metrics to identify trends, reduce risk, and improve site performance
11. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and EHS programs


What we are looking for

- Bachelor or Master in Industrial Safety, Health Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of EHS experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or high‑tech industry
- Mandatory Level B Labor Safety and Health Management certification/license
- Strong knowledge of occupational safety and product safety principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a customer‑facing environment
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem‑solving ability
