- Review facility/equipment specifications, evaluate system performance, and propose improvements for efficiency
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules; supervise and coordinate contractors for on‑site work
- Design and manage facility expansion, layout changes, and system implementations
- Conduct project cost analysis, prepare budgets, and track execution
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (e.g., chemical control laws, high‑pressure gas safety) and prepare reports/documentation
- Support utility installation for PEALD R&D tools and related semiconductor sub‑equipment
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years as a Facility Engineer or similar role
- Practical knowledge of gas and chemical supply systems used in semiconductor equipment
- Hands‑on experience with utility setup for semiconductor tools
- Experience operating abatement systems (e.g., Burn‑Wet Scrubber) and gas supply systems (e.g., Gas Cabinets, V.M.B)
- Knowledge of semiconductor utility system maintenance and relevant safety regulations
- Engineering certifications in gas and/or refrigeration/HVAC (or equivalent) — required
- Strong problem‑solving skills and project execution experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; self‑driven and responsible work style
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SAP, MS Office, and PLCs
- Fluent in English and Korean
What sets you apart
- Experience integrating utilities for PEALD or similar R&D semiconductor environments
- Proven track record improving system efficiency and facility reliability via data‑driven assessments
- Experience leading contractor/vendor management and multi‑stakeholder projects
- Advanced skills in P&ID reading, risk assessment, and change management for facilities
- Familiarity with compliance reporting and audits in regulated environments
