Job's mission
What you will be working on
- Develop the development of ASM’s Intelligent Automation, Smart Manufacturing, and Warehouse Automation roadmap, ensuring alignment with long-term automation and digital transformation goals.
- Define the strategic roadmap for robotics, machine vision, and emerging technologies such as humanoid robots and autonomous systems.
- Engage stakeholders across Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality to identify automation opportunities and translate them into scalable automation solutions.
- Drive vendor engagements, including solution evaluation, design reviews, and validation of proposals for automation, vision inspection, and warehouse systems.
- Collaborate with operations leaders, program managers, and external vendors to ensure automation systems seamlessly integrate into existing operation ecosystems.
- Perform feasibility studies, ROI modeling, and capacity analysis to justify automation investments and ensure alignment with ASM’s long-term operational strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in AIoT, robotics, machine vision, automation frameworks, digital twins, and humanoid-capable automation systems.
- Ensuring initiatives comply with internal standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity considerations.
- Oversee proof‑of‑concept evaluations for advanced automation solutions and guide decision‑makers in adopting future-ready technologies.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in automation or smart manufacturing projects.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in machine vision, and industrial automation ecosystem architecture.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System (MES)workflows, production orchestration, and integration concepts
- Experience with operational processes in Engineering to Order, Low volume to High mix Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, or Supply Chain

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and influence decision-making.
