Job's mission

As a Supplier Manager I, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our global supply base. You’ll lead supplier relationships, mitigate risks, and drive improvements that directly impact our ability to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. Your work will help ASM maintain operational excellence and support our mission to shape the future of technology.

What you will be working on

 

  • Own and manage supplier relationships and performance.
  • Act as the main escalation point between suppliers and internal teams to resolve cost, quality, delivery, and service issues.
  • Monitor supplier capacity, analyze demand vs. supply, and initiate risk buys to ensure continuity.
  • Identify and assess supplier risks across financial, quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and market dimensions; lead mitigation efforts.
  • Negotiate and establish supplier contracts aligned with business needs.
  • Conduct quarterly supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage supplier change requests in compliance with change control processes.
  • Report and escalate supply continuity risks related to product lifecycle and operations.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, commodity management, or supplier engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environment

  • Proven ability to negotiate and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution and influencing decisions in complex situations.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and dynamic environments.
  • Experience in global organizations.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and PLC management tools.
