Job's Mission

As a Cleanroom Equipment Technician at ASM, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our semiconductor equipment operates flawlessly. This position offers hands-on experience in a controlled environment, where precision and adherence to standards are key. You’ll contribute to maintaining high-quality production and support innovation in the semiconductor industry.

 

What you will be working on

  • Assemble semiconductor equipment in a cleanroom environment and perform final testing.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Inspect equipment using electrical tools.
  • Interpret and implement work standards.
  • Manage the cleanroom environment.
  • Check and request improvements to work standards.

 

What we are looking for

  • Minimum education: Associate Degree in Engineering (Electrical major preferred).
  • Under 2 years of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing industry, or engineering graduate.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, and bills of materials.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in mechanical assembly of machines.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and perform shift work.
  • Normal color vision to identify live wires and ensure safety when handling engineering components.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform mechanical assembly of machines.

  • Additional certifications or training in semiconductor equipment handling.
  • Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and safety standards.
