As a Technical Program Senior Engineer I at ASM, you will ensure that our CKM kits and service meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will collaborate with Central engineer team, vendor sites and local team to resolve non-conformances, implement robust process controls, and drive continuous improvement. Your technical expertise will help us deliver precision-engineered service packages to our end customer.
What you will be working on
- Work with vendor sites and fields to understand non-conformances details for communication and follow up to closure with refurbish vendors.
- Support BU3 testing fixture installation, beta testing, training internal and deliver work instruction to vendors. Also take ownership to manage qual plan and report real-time data and issue back to central engineer team.
- Support the review of SPC, ICP-MS, LPC and GC-MS data for critical parts and manage CKM kit issue execution and recovery.
- Track refurbish vendor’s performance includes OOS rate, re-work ratio, lead time, on tool performance metrics and key performance indicators. Facilitate and drive refurbishing vendors to meet or exceed defined expectations.
- Conduct routine Surveillance and problem resolution audits to determine their compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
- Provide leadership during investigations of excursions and work with vendors to provide comprehensive reports to fulfill ASM 8D requirements and response to local team and customer to secure CKM quality and business.
- Support conduct of failure analysis (FA) to determine the root cause of product failures and share findings with Engineering, Product Support and other internal and external teams
- Develop positive relationships with vendors and drive continuous improvement activities from lessons learnt and best practices.
- Up to 20% business travel
What we are looking for
- Technical expertise in TSMC fab equipment experience, Engineering best practices, and ever work with key technology suppliers and technical ex. TPS or GPS to drive product quality.
- Demonstrated expertise specific to ALD or CVD equipment systems. Preferably with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- With >8 years of professional experience or demonstrated expertise in advance fab includes TSMC, SEC or Intel issue escalation.
- Ability to document work instruction and communicate between engineer team and vendors for optimization with clear report summary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively across geographies, cultures, disciplines, etc.
- Driven personality with discipline of ownership of responsibilities and is comfortable working independently.
- Attention to details and analytical thinking towards problem solving.
- Clean industry experience will be a bonus.
